Super Clean OEM looking Newport

Yes, I am a sucker for a clean Newport as I own one myself. It honestly is a super classy looking boat in person and is a FAR better option for a family than a Montauk. This one is a one owner classic in the San Fransisco bay area and well priced at $6500 if it all checks out. Call Peter 831-236-8662

Clean and well priced 21 Walkaround

This little brother to the 23 WalkAround has a great ride and lots of room in the cuddy for a 21' boat. This boat has been listed on and off for the last 9 months or so. It seems to be very clean in the other images I have seen of it and it has no bottom paint and has been rack stored. at $13,500 is seems well priced. Link to AD

17 Guardian DiveMaster in CT

A 17' Guardian Dive master is not a usual sight. I would be a great boat for a hard core diver. This one says it has never been used commercially so that mean it does not suffer from the hard core abuse scars, if any at all. Call 203 675 1343

21 Outrage with Twins

It's no secret I really like the first generation of Post Classic Outrages for a lot of reason. Finding a first gen post Classic 21 Outrage with twins is a bit rare but a very nice option. Yes the price is a bit high for most, for the right person this boat is a great find. Link to Ad

Desert Montauk

If you live in California with may be worth a trip to give the Montauk a look over. At $5900 and being a one owner boat, you could be into a decent boat below the standard West Coast Prices.

12 Gallon Tempo Tank

$90 for the pair. If you have a 17 Whaler these tanks are what I think are some of the best you can have. With a little restoration they will look like new and last many more decades. Call Jeff: Jeff at (360) 565-6111 Link to the ad.

Super Clean one Owner Newport in the Bay Area

Maybe I am just a sucker for the Newport because I own one and LOVE it but, I do think these make far better family boats than a Montauk. And no, this is not a sit down and drive Whaler. Even a 6'2" my father can stand at the console and steer. This boat is a super clean and OEM one owner 1978 Newport in Monterey Ca for $6500. Which considering it's location seems like a really good price.

Post Classic 21 Outrage

The post classic 21 and 24 Outrages are some of my favorite Outrages. They were the first designs after Bob Dougherty was let go from Whaler. These Post Classic designs have a great ride quality to them as the V and Deadrise on these hulls is much sharper than what was found on the Classic Outrage Hulls. They also have a lot of nice features and storage not found on the Classics. This one is located in the Florida Pan-Handle and for $10,000 OBO with a 225 Mariner (Mercury) and trailer could make a really nice boat for someone. Sure it has teal accents but, it you look past that, the bottom paint, decals and T-Top canvas could be easy changes. Here is a link to the Ad Or call call 334-618-2292

27 WalkAround Whaler Drive for $15,500 in CT

The 27 Walkaround is a sought after model to start with, throw in the WhalerDrive and you have a really neat boat. This 27 looks to be the 1990 - 1992 Model because it has the light gelcoat, it does not have the Aft cuddy cabin and it has the Classic WhalerDrive not the later Saltshaker Marine Bracket.

27 ft boston whaler twin 225 evinrudes with trailer 10 ft beam great boat 203-996-6060 scott or 321-863-0232 shawn.

It has been listed again here

22 Outrage in CT for a great great price.

This ad is from Continuouswave. The boat has been for sale for a while and I am surprised the boat is not gone. It looks to be a real great offering and someone would be lucky to snag it....Wish I was closer. Sure it is not perfect but for the money it seems like it would be tough not to give it a try.

So, after several years of lack of use due to time constraints and other aquatic activities such as sea kayaking I've finally decided to sell my old Outrage 22. Overall the boat is in decent condition but does need some work to get it up and running and make it look great again. Here are the details:

Boat and Accessories:
Large console (called Super console by BW),
Leaning post with rod holders,
Custom T-top with rocket launcher rod holders,
Cooler seat in front of console and cooler storage under leaning post,
77 gallon fuel tank,
Dual batteries under console,
Garmin color chart plotter (2005)w/depth - Model 2006C,
Raytheon radar (1989) works but older unit,
Standard Horizon VHF radio (1989),
Bilge pumps(2),
Large, lighted console compass,
Anchor, dock lines, fenders, life jackets, swim ladder,
Overall the hull is in good shape but needs a good, cleaning and the teak needs to be redone.

Engine: 1989 Yamaha Excel (225 HP)
455 hours,
Ran well when last used 3 years ago but the carburetors need to be cleaned,
Old gas needs to be removed and replaced, fuel lines need to be replaced,
The shift rod has been replaced,

Trailer: Loadrite tandem axel (1989)
Trailer needs tires and is in fairly poor condition but serviceable if only used locally which I did,

Really nice and restored 19 Outrage

Yes, it is priced beyond what most would spend but, this 19 is creeping toward the Larry Goltz realm of quality. It is also for sale by Twin Cities Marine. They are by far the leader when it comes to sales and service for a Boston Whaler owner.

First posting

In the coming weeks I will be migrating to this single blog instead of just posting the finds on Facebook. Since Facebook has changed their policy you can not view the postings unless you have a facebook account. This sucks for those not on Facebook and I routinely get emails about it. In the end I am hoping to make the posting more open to everyone. Check in on it soon for updates.
